Dogs really are man’s best friend. They have helped us in various ways. They help keep our homes safe, they help people with disability go about their day to day lives, and they risk their lives by sniffing bombs and helping police officers catch the bad guys.
And one dog has proven himself as best friend and protector to a certain police officer. A Mississippi police officer was ambushed and attacked by three men. Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Todd Frazier got out of his squad car to check on a driver who was sitting in his vehicle with the lights out. Then two other men emerged from the woods and the three attacked him. That’s when his K9 companion jumped out of the car to help him! Watch the video below for the full story!
Lucas is such a brave dog! If it wasn’t for him, the police officer may have been badly injured or even killed! I believe Lucas deserves a reward for his bravery! Don’t you agree?
