Dog Who Was Hit By A Train Found A Loving Home With The Cop Who Saved Her

| Published on February 22, 2016

When a dog was hit by a train, a police officer named Kevin McMullen rushed to the scene to help the poor dog. Little did he know that that dog will become a part of his family.

The dog, now named Molly, ran into the path of an oncoming train inside a tunnel. The train conductor saw this happen but there wasn’t anything he could do. He couldn’t stop the train to save the dog.

Police officer McMullen went to the tracks and saw that Molly’s leg was severed. She had lost a lot of blood and she had cuts all over her body, but she was still alive.

But what’s amazing is that when officer McMullen got to Molly, the first thing she did was greet him with kisses.

Molly was brought to BARCS Animal Shelter for medical treatment. Molly lost her leg but she was able to recover. She then lived with a foster family after she was released from the hospital.

While Molly was still in the hospital, officer McMullen kept visiting her, and Molly was so happy every time she gets a visit from the kind officer.

Claire Giambi, officer McMullen’s girlfriend, told Barkpost that every time officer McMullen talks about Molly, she can see love in his eyes. So they took a chance to make Molly part of their fur-family.

So on Valentine’s Day, Officer McMullen and Claire, together with their cat and their three dogs, welcomed Molly to their family.

Molly is now safe and loved at their home. She has found her loving, forever family.
