Fisherman’s Beautiful Reunion With The Dog He Thought He’d Lost At Sea

| Published on January 14, 2016

Alfonse Attard, a 75-year-old seasoned fisherman, was out at sea with his first mate–his beloved Jack Russell named Jack. They were fishing about one kilometer off Altona beach, but the waters were choppy, and suddenly water began to leak into their boat. Quickly, their boat capsized.

A passing boat was able to rescue Alfonse, but they couldn’t find Jack. Alfonse was devastated when he got to the shore and found out that his beloved dog has been left behind. He thought that his best friend was lost forever.
