Graphic Designer Known For Giant Dog Miraculously Survives Cow Mauling

While graphic designer Christopher Cline may be best known for hanging out with a seven-foot tall Goldendoodle named Juji, his virtual experience with oversize animals didn’t prepare him for a scary incident on the farm. Juji isn’t really seven feet tall, but the dog’s owner uses his skills with Photoshop to create breathtaking images of him and his seemingly giant dog. The pair is seen adventuring at the lake, having fun at the beach, and hanging out at home. The pictures have earned Cline and Juji over 100,000 fans on social media.

When Cline isn’t exploring his imagination with Juji or building his career as a graphic designer, he’s working on his family’s farm near Buffalo, Minnesota. That’s where he was last Thursday when he was mauled by a 1,200-pound cow. The female cow became upset when Cline attempted to help a newborn calf. She went on the offensive and began trampling him into the ground with powerful hooves. Cline said,

“For what seemed an eternity, 1,200 pounds of cow stomped me into the ground. She was on top of me before I could even realize what was happening.”

Cline’s girlfriend and a neighbor were also there, and they managed to move the cow away while Cline desperately hurled himself over a nearby fence to escape. He was rushed to the emergency room where doctors started assessing the damage. Miraculously, the angry mama cow had missed all of Cline’s vital organs. He was bruised and had several deep lacerations on his arms and legs, but none of his bones were broken. There was no internal bleeding, and Juji’s favorite human is lucky to be alive.

“I am home now and am in a tremendous amount of pain and I find every little bit of movement is excruciating. But I am alive and so very grateful to be so.”

While cows aren’t exactly known for being friendly toward humans, they’re usually not aggressive. As with most animals, however, that can change as soon as the situation involves a mother protecting her offspring.

Cline’s Instagram and Facebook followers will have to do without their regular fix of Juji photos for the next few days as Cline focuses on recovering. In the meantime, Juji is doing the job of cuddle buddy and comforter to get the talented graphic designer back on the farm and behind the camera.
