“Who wants to go for a ride?!” The dogs of London do! And thanks to the UK insurance company called More Than, they will finally get their chance aboard a customized Routemaster bus called the K9.

The world’s first bus tour for dogs takes pups and the people who love them on a figure-eight loop around London, making stops at four dog-friendly parks along the way.

The 90-minute tour had its flagship ride on Monday and will continue with three departures per day at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM for four days total. Each rider will receive a complimentary map marking the locations of the city’s dog-friendly pubs, bars, and restaurants in case they need a refreshment after the excursion.

In between rest stops at Hyde Park Corner, Hyde Park Place, Kensington Palace, and Green Park, the dogs will get an earful of London’s canine history from their tour guide. Topics of interest include the Corgis of Buckingham Palace and the city’s one and only pet cemetery.

More Than Insurance is sponsoring the bus tours to promote their new dog care protection plans called Doggy Essentials. The K9 will be touring around London from January 17 – 21. If you’re nearby, hitch a ride with your pooch!
