On a hot summer’s day, what could be better than a cool dip in the pool? Bonsai the English Bulldog may have been born with multiple deformities, but he certainly doesn’t let it stop him from having fun.

He has Caudal Regression Syndrome (Sacral Agenesis) and Sacrocaudal Dysgenesis – likely combined with a variation of Spina Bifida. Basically, he was born with just half of his spine, a non-functioning pelvis and malformed rear legs.

But when Bonsai is in the water, the sensation of floating can give him a sense of relief and freedom from his ailments. With his life vest on for safety, and his best buddy, Ransom (who has no hind legs) watching over him, Bonsai makes his kiddie pool debut in this adorable video.

Even if Ransom took his favorite toy, nothing can ruin Bonsai’s soothing pool experience! Isn’t it inspiring to see these two handi-capable pups overcoming the odds? Share this awesome video and inspire someone else today!
