| Published on January 23, 2015

Is your dog tired of his stuffable treat toy? It could be that he just can’t handle licking out any more peanut butter, which seems to be the “go-to” filler. Here are ten recipes for you to try to spice up your dog’s life.

Joanne Bullock spoils her dog with a bedtime snack every night. Her simple recipe? Mix plain yogurt (no added sugar) with high-grade kibble in small bowl. Use spoon to stuff in Kong [or other toy]. Put in Ziploc bag and freeze. Serve frozen.

#3 –  Stuffable Biscuits

Bev at Black Cat Dog Designs has a great recipe for a standard, mid-sized bone – just enough to have to force the biscuit in so Fido doesn’t get an easy catch falling out. You can also cut them into odd shapes to fit other toy or feeder puzzles, like the Nina Ottosson. Recipe found here.
