My three year old am staff has suddenly been waking from a deep sleep and attacking out other 2 year old staffy her eyes change colour it’s like she has no idea what or why she’s attacking, it’s scary because it’s like she can’t hear or see anything else around her and goes straight for her throat luckily I’ve been able to pull her off its now happened a second time in as many weeks she has never shown aggression toward anyone or anything before am has only done this twice after last night I have an appointment with her vet to get checked out. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue ? I’m really worried as I have 2 daughters 11 and 12 and they could get really hurt if she keeps doing this 🙁

Nothing really helpful I’m afraid but for now if she has her own crate maybe you should get her to sleep in it? Make it nice and comfy, with a towel over it for privacy and maybe a soft toy for comfort, at least until you get it sorted when she wakes everyone is safe?
