Anxiety Treatment for my Cockapoo

I have a very anxious dog. If there is any sort of loud noise, my dog jumps or my hide. He has always been an anxious little guy but extremely affectionate and obedient. He has never been harshly treated (to my knowledge). I have many disabling health issues, so he is with me most of the time. He is by my side and tries to comfort me – I can tell.

Is there anything I can do or give him that will decrease his anxiety level? I feel so badly for him.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
