      I don’t see how “promoting breeding” correlates with “NOT being a dog lover”. While I agree there is a pandemic with backyard breeders and puppy mills who are only out for the cash they can rake in – responsible breeders should not lumped into this general category.

      The difference with a responsible breeder is that they will:
      –Screen pups for genetic problems and show you the paperwork;
      –Answer questions with no hesitation or condescension;
      –Take the time to educate you and will not push for the sale;
      –Help you make the right decision—even if that means you do not buy a dog; and
      –Agree to provide advice and support for the dog’s lifetime if you do buy from them.

      I know a lot of people that are into dog breeding some of them do it to continue the generation of the pet while most do it for money which is really not good. It’s pretty alarming that some of the breeders doesn’t care about the quality of the animal that they will be able to produce. Again there are just some, but I am not saying that all of the breeders only does it for money.
