his teeth are fine Blood work normal. Takes mds for pain and inflation He has no trouble eating treats but ignores kibbles. I tried wet for EN from vet and no go He gets sick on wet food from the store I have tried chicken broth warm water etc Anyone have any more ideas? I think it could be dementia and he forgets his food bowl!!!

My girl is 14 and this year she stopped eating kibble also. When we were at the cottage I was so afraid she would starve I called my vet. He said to just feed her treats until we got home. I then went to a mix of hard and soft. She ate around the kibble and spat them out on the floor! Lol Her teeth aren’t great but she was losing weight so I experimented with different senior food until we found something that didn’t make her vomit and that she really liked. Of course that led to poop issues but at the end it got better once she adjusted. So glad to hear your dog is 16….gives me hope I will have her a little longer. Her name is Sasha.
