I Love my Real Mommy

I was taken from my dog mom when I was only 5 weeks old. My human mommy loved me, but her boyfriend was mean to both of us. He would beat on her, and I would try to protect her…I got hit too.
She finally decided she could not keep me, so I was given to my Real Mommy. When I was shoved in her kitchen door, I ran to a corner behind her table. Real Mommy tried to coax me out, but I just cowered more. Real Mommy put a bowl of water and a few kibbles close to me. She talked so sweet, but I did not come out for water for a good while. Finally, I was so thirsty, I got me a drink. Real Mommy came in, sat down in the floor and talked so sweetly, that I came out and took a few kibbles from her hand. She was so gentle, I let her pet me.
She became my Real Mommy. I have been with her for 9 1/2 years and I love her so much…she loves me too. I am smaller than my full sister, but I am dynamite!
