I don’t remember exactly how I got away from my last home but boy am I glad I did! I was covered in fleas and half my fur had fallen out! Well, anyways. As I was walking around I came to a house that had other dogs in it. I could see them in the window barking at me. I thought I might get to make some friends so I decided to lay down on the porch and wait for awhile. It didn’t take long before their human came home and he immediately made friends with me! He was so kind and easy to be friendly with. He took me inside his home where I got to meet his other friends! Right off the bat one of them wanted to play and I knew right then that this was where I belonged. But we didn’t get to play right away because my new human made me take a bath to get rid of the fleas, It wasn’t a bad thing, in fact I kind of liked it! Once I was clean and had a big drink of water it was time to meet my other friends. They were SO small! My human look scared I might do something to them but I mostly ignored them because I was too busy getting to know my new home and playing with the other dog who was smaller than me but didn’t mind the size difference. We played tug of war, and sometimes our human would play too! A three way tug of war! Boy what fun! It took a while for my other small friends to get used to me because they hadn’t ever had a dog as big as me with them and they were cautious. I don’t blame them, I would be too. I love my new home and all my friends, Every night we all pile into bed with our human and sleep together. It’s so wonderful to be with someone who appreciates me for being me. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
