My name is Kaleb. I was rescued toward the end of 2005. I am originally from Louisiana. When Hurricane Katrina came I ended up at Denver Dumb Friends league. From there I went to Fort Collins to a Husky rescue. I was finally adopted and excited to get to my new home. I did not know how that would be, since I had been taking antibiotics for the previous year? My owners would bring me to the vet that the rescue said and I would get more antibiotics. I love my owner so much, one day we went to a different vet and they did x-rays, we found out I am a special needs dog. I have bronchial asthma. My new owners got me the right medication and I felt better then I had before. I could breath again plus I was gaining a lot of weight. I always get new toys to play with, I have friends so I am not lonely when my owners leave. My owners love to take me on walks. We go around our neighborhood and to a bike path. Sometimes we get to go to the dog park. I am very happy at my home. I truly believe that if my owners would not have rescued me, I might not be here today. I was very thin when first adopted. My owners helped me put on weight.
