Hi my name is Billy and oh boy, am I happy now. When I was born, I have heard that many of my litter mates were mistreated and honestly, I don’t know how it is that I escaped that torture. Somebody named James found me and took me home with him, but left me to my own devises and never loved me. I am still to this day not sure why he saved me but am so glad he did. One weekend, his neighbors were having a yard sale and oh boy, I had some company. See James left me all alone for days, no food no water but I had trusted him so stayed close to his home. When these wonderful ladies showed up down the way, I ran to them and we played and played until I was so tired, all I could do was sleep. But then they left and I was all alone again. I was so sad but then the next day, WOW, they showed up again and this time one of the ladies said that she just had to have me!! I was so happy and wanted to stay with her but she left without taking me with her. She now tells me it was because it would have been stealing and she was so sad to leave. So James (who never gave me a name by the way) decided that he did not have the time so he gave me to one of his family members. They had dogs to play with but just did not seem to care that I was so dang cute and just wanted to be loved. I ran away to find my forever home. A stranger found me and posted my face on Facebook, asking if anybody knew who I was and where I belonged. Karen, Jan’s niece, saw the post, (she was of the nice ladies at the yard sale), and came and got me. That was on a Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, before she went to work, she took me over to Jan’s house, knocked on the door and put me in her arms. Jan cried and I moaned with relief and I found my furever home. I am so spoiled!! I now have Suzi, my new sister, (another rescue) to play with and 3 cats that I get to tease. My mom makes me fresh organic food for dinner every night and well, so many treats too. I love her and she loves me too. We still moan together and kiss and play and just love to be together. Thanks to the furgods, I am a happy dog!!
