Luke the Jackapoo

Hi, my name is Luke. We are not sure, but my mom thinks I’m a jackapoo; a Jack Russel and poodle mix. My mom calls me Lukie or Lu, but sometimes my mom calls me taz since I can be wild and crazy, the energizer bunny because I keep going and going and going, or curious George because I am always exploring.
I am now 6.5 years old, but my mom rescued me when I was 4 years old. I was found on the streets, where I was then taken to the pound. On 4th of July, some really nice people from a shelter called Holly’s Garden got me from the pound. My mom adopted me 1 month later. Ever since then, I have been her running buddy.
My mom celebrates my birthday on 4th of July. She says it because I was given a second chance. She named me Luke, since it means bringer of light and she tells me I’m her sunshine.
