My Am staff loves to lick other dogs!?

Whenever we go to the dog park and another dog approaches our dog, Bonsai he won’t stop licking the other dogs in the face, almost obsessively. Typically, the other dog will only take so much of this behavior and we end up having to sperate. We also, have a Beagle/doxie mix. The two of them are the best of friends and they will lick each other occasionally. Bonsai will play with her like dogs should play, but with other dogs he constantly wants to lick then in the face. It’s gotten to where we don’t want to take him to the park anymore. Any suggestions on how to stop this behavior??
