New Puppy with Chi babies and now scared

Hi! We just got a new doby puppy. 9-weeks old. Already 14 pounds. He is a very active, chewy little guy. I have a senior chihuahua and a 4- year old chihuahua. Did I make a mistake in getting him? Will he calm down? Will he hurt my babies? Will he always chew on things? We bought home a ton of toys. He is being crate trained, which I hate, but I can’t leave him unattended. He’s in his crate for 2 hours, out for one hour to play. He loves his crate, but I don’t like leaving him in there at all. Help!!!!!!
