Our Border Collie, a female, will rub her neck in poop. The more disgusting the better. Over the years we have had several dogs, among them 3 other Border Collies. None have done this. Even the Maremma guard dogs that lived with the sheep & cattle never had this habit. Could it be a female thing or just a quirk she has?
