Rescued Sisters Loving Life!

Today starts day 6 in our furrever home. We were calm & cool the first 48 hours, got to meet tons of friends and family who thought we were amazing and so docile! Once we got comfortable we decided to show our true selves – barking at every single noise we heard including the tv to the point no movie could be watched. Army crawling and laying in wait for the other in the backyard until just the right moment and then body slamming each other as we roll across the yard. Wrestling with each other in the living room floor biting lips, legs and necks while Mom & Dad repeatedly said ‘don’t hurt your sister’. We tried to chew corners of furniture and throw rugs, but Daddy bought lots of chew toys. Of course we each want the toys to ourselves so we gather them up and sit on them so the other can’t have them. We refused to go in the crates Mom & Dad bought brand new just for us. We slept on the floor the first few nights but moved to the bed when Daddy called us up there. We were quickly banned to the front hall at night because we didn’t really want to sleep in bed. We sleep all day, why sleep at night? We wanted to play fight all night long. It’s what we do. We are testing our new parents. And right now they are passing the test with flying colors – and winning the battle of the wills. We might need to up our game a bit . . . ” Hope & Grace
