Houston musical artist Arthur Yoria set out with WA2S Films to film a video to go along with the original song RUFF LIFE. RUFF LIFE is the closing credits song for Operation Houston, a documentary that is based on the homeless dog epidemic in Houston.

When they found their location to shoot the video, they also found 3 stray dogs but only one was interested in them; the other two had run away.

This pretty stray was small with a beautiful coat although she was covered in fleas. She was the perfect actress for the role of “stray dog” in the video and did her job so well that the film crew decided to name her Rita Hayworth!

Arthur Yoria didn’t have the heart to leave her so they called on friends at Forgotten Dogs of the Fifth Ward who took care of Rita’s medical needs and readied her for her new family and forever home!

Well, it sure seems like the universe conspired with everything to make that day awesome for everyone – especially for a little stray dog who found love and a forever home on the set of RUFF LIFE, truly awesome!

Share this feel-good video and let’s continue to spread the love! 🙂
