Many cleaning products contain chemicals that are toxic to both people and pets. While we may be aware we shouldn’t ingest them, and we take care to keep our pets away, they can still last in the environment longer than we expect. Even if we keep our dog crated or in another room when we clean the kitchen or bathroom, the chemicals that are used can cause allergic reactions in our dogs by irritating their airways and skin.
