Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to Greater Good Charities, which helps support various charitable programs. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

The Lancaster Animal Care Center is a division of Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control. With seven “open admission” shelters serving 47 cities, the staff faces a constant struggle to save the dogs in their care from euthanasia.

For a beautiful pooch named Mocha, salvation lay in a program called the Second Chance Movement, funded in part by your iHeartDogs product purchases.

Mocha arrived at the Lancaster shelter “very sick and very sad.” The Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team (START) gave Mocha his second chance by providing him with essential veterinary care and transportation to a no-kill shelter in Washington state.

iHeartDogs’ Second Chance Movement helps fund organizations like START so they can relocate dogs to shelters where they have a fighting chance to find new lives.

To date, your Second Chance Movement purchases have provided more than 80,000 transport miles to dogs like Mocha who found his forever family 1,200 miles from the Lancaster shelter.

According to his friends at START, the once pitiful Mocha now rules the roost!
