A couple involved their dog Denali in their domestic dispute. The wife locked the innocent Pit Bull in a crate and set the house on fire. What resulted, in a pointless tragedy, left their dog traumatized and severely injured. Denali was badly burned throughout her body. The dog suffered both mental and emotional damage that could steer the course of her life forever. But kind humans stepped in and gave Denali the boost up she so desperately needed.

When Denali was taken by medical transport, she cried every time the car hit a bump. The driver was amazed by how much pain Denali was in yet the dog was incredibly brave. The driver, a woman with a warm heart, already felt love for this courageous Pittie. She knew this dog was special!

The driver decided to visit Denali and check up on her at the vet clinic. The vet techs brought Denali out of her kennel. She came running over to her human friend, remembering the woman’s beautiful soul, and went right in for snuggles. She gave the woman so much love despite all she had suffered at the hands of the female owner she trusted the most.

Denali’s true potential, suppressed by the monsters who hurt her, started to blossom. She absolutely loved people and because of this, Denali began to train as a therapy dog. Her journey is amazing! Denali surely is a “beacon of hope.” Denali’s story continues and it’s too heartwarming to miss.
