Based on her physical injuries, Blossom had a rough past. It’s believed that she was a victim of dog fighting and possibly used as a bait dog. Whatever awful things happened to, it left her with severe trauma to the left side of her head. Her ear was all but gone, her jaw shattered and her tiny body was starving to death when A Chance to Bloom rescue found her. It took 140 sutures to help her ear area, and her fight still isn’t over, as she requires a total hip replacement.

With the help of the hardworking, compassionate people at A Chance to Bloom, Blossom is thriving today! She’s set to receive her new hips in March. After her healing, she will then become CGC certified so she can meet with children at schools about bullying and how to overcome it!
