When a Pit Bull named Hendrix was found on the streets, his registered owners made it clear they no longer wanted him. Hendrix may have been unwanted, but that soon changed when his new mom Kate laid eyes on the precious pup at precisely the right time.
Hendrix was set to be euthanized the same afternoon Kate came across an urgent plea online, in an attempt to save his life. So she got in the car and drove two hours away to meet the pup. When Hendrix came out of his kennel and into the meet-and-greet room, he ran over to Kate as if he knew she was meant to be his. And Kate felt exactly the same way.
Kate brought him straight home and vowed to give him a better life. The poor dog was underweight, unsettled, and flinched constantly. It broke Kate’s heart to see how afraid he was. What had his previous owners done to Hendrix? Thankfully that was forever part of his past!
