We have a 12 year old husky. Our other dog died 3 weeks ago and our dog is barely eating. We took him to our vet and they gave anxiety meds. We have tried new food, etc. Any suggestions? We have even considered getting another dog but aren’t sure it is the right thing to do.

Nothing can really CURE anxiety. At least well, you might just want to get another puppy completely different from his brother, and they just might get along. But the thing is, you want to get an old dog with siblings so they know what it feels to be left behind without their siblings because the 12 year old dog should be dieting soon unless it’s super healthy.
