Jennifer Aniston can never resist an animal. As long as her current dogs approve, she’s always happy to rescue another. And luckily, her pups were fully supportive of her newest addition: Lord Chesterfield.
Lord Chesterfield is the cutest little Great Pyrenees puppy. Aniston says that he stole her heart the second she laid eyes on him. So, she had no choice but to adopt him and bring him home. As it turns out, adopting the dapper rescue puppy was a great idea, and he has already made himself at home!
Meet Lord Chesterfield!
After Aniston’s white German Shepherd named Dolly passed away, she was unsure if she was ready to adopt another dog. She had come so close to bringing a puppy home many times before, but she wanted to make sure that the dog was the perfect fit for her family.
“My friend Ellen DeGeneres, as you know, loves nothing more than to bombard me with extremely heartbreaking photographs of animals that need homes. And by the way, if I could have a llama, a pig, an alpaca, sheep, goats, I would,” Aniston said.
But when Aniston saw Lord Chesterfield, who was up for adoption at Wagmor Pet Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles, she fell in love. Not long after bringing him home, Aniston shared an adorable video of Lord Chesterfield on her Instagram page. All her fans quickly fell in love with the pup too, and they all thanked her for choosing to adopt.
World’s Best Dog Mom
In addition to Lord Chesterfield, Aniston also has two other dogs: a Schnauzer mix named Clyde and a Pit Bull named Sophie. They are so much more than just dogs to her, but instead, they’re her four-legged children.
According to the video Aniston posted on Instagram, Lord Chesterfield has spent plenty of time tuckering himself out so far. The video shows him napping with a braided bully stick still in his mouth.
“Hi! I’d like to introduce to you the newest member of our family… this is (a very tired) Lord Chesterfield. He stole my heart immediately,” Aniston wrote with the video. “A HUGE thank you to @wagmorpets for the incredible work you do. Grateful you take such great care of these rescues and find them their forever homes.”
Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield are all lucky to have such a loving dog mom. Aniston frequently shares photos of her furry friends on Instagram, and it’s clear that they’re living their best lives. So, it looks like Lord Chesterfield has found the forever home he has been looking for, and hopefully, Aniston’s story encourages more dog lovers to adopt.
