Directions for Use:
To introduce brushing, start by letting your dog taste a small amount on your finger. Slowly and gently begin rubbing teeth and gums with your finger. Add a small amount of toothpaste to the brush and allow dog to taste again. Expose dog’s teeth and gums and gently brush. Praise your dog while brushing. Consider rewarding your dog after with a dental treat. After a few times of practicing with just your finger and some toothpaste, once your dog gets comfortable, you can then introduce the finger toothbrush.

• Most dogs just hate having their teeth brushed. One way to encourage your pup to relax and even enjoy toothbrushing is to squeeze more toothpaste onto your dog’s toothbrush for each new section of mouth you brush. Your dog will enjoy the flavor and start to recognize it as a reward for allowing you to brush his or her teeth!
• Make sure you’re in a relaxed state while brushing your dog’s teeth. Remember, dogs are very in tune with others’ emotions, especially their owners’!
