When Puppy Rescue 911 pulled Enzo from animal control, he was malnourished to the point of ribs showing. Any sign of the vibrant dog that he used to be was no longer there. Enzo had given up hope and needed help.

With assistance from Puppy Rescue 911, and high-quality pet food donated by GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank program, it only took one month before Enzo was a healthy weight, adopted, and the fire of life had been lit inside him once again!

“Enzo is loving life with his new family. He now knows what it is like to be greatly loved. He receives compliments constantly about how handsome he is, which is a huge change from what he looked like when we found him in animal control. Enzo’s new family sends regular updates on him and tell us how he has changed their lives. He did mine, too.

I wanted to send a special thank you to GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank food program, and its affiliate, Emily’s Animal Welfare of St Louis. This is an amazing program that has been a huge benefit to our rescue efforts.

Last year we were able to save 948 animals. We were only able to do this by being a part of the Rescue Bank food program. We take in dogs that are in high kill facilities and scheduled to be put to sleep. Most of these animals are extremely malnourished. After being with us, they can put weight back on quickly and are soon up to their expected weight.

Being a part of GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank food program has allowed us to use the funds we would have spent on food to go toward our new shelter. There will be hundreds of lives saved because of your help. Thank you.” – Puppy Rescue 911
