Stray Dog Who Waited 6 Months For Flight Attendant’s Return Finally Gets To Go Home With Her

One stray dog in Argentina is the perfect example of endless loyalty.

When Olivia Sievers, a flight attendant from Germany, showed this street pup a little affection, he never forgot.

Sievers frequently works on flights to Argentina, and always stays in the same hotel in Buenos Aires. One day, she noticed a street dog outside. She gave him a bit to eat, and they played for a little while.

When she walked away, the pup followed her right to the hotel. Sievers tried several times to divert the attention of the clingy canine, but he was still at her heels.

As she entered the hotel, the dog settled just outside, waiting for his new favorite human’s return. Sievers named him Rubio, and that night, gave him an airline blanket to keep him warm.

As she prepared to board the plane back to Germany, the flight attendant didn’t think she’d ever see the street dog again…

Until the next time she arrived in Buenos Aires!

According to Daily Mail, 6 months had passed, but the pup was still outside the hotel waiting for her.

The hotel manager informed Sievers that they had been caring for Rubio while she’d been away. They even enlisted the help of a rescue, who tried to adopt him into a new home…but he ran away and headed straight back for the hotel!

Sievers knew that she and Rubio were meant to be together. So after patiently waiting for half a year, Rubio was taken to Germany and to his forever home with his favorite human.

Now, the formerly stray pup is happier than ever. It looks like good things really do come to those who wait!
