At a university in China, college students became heroes when they saved a mother dog and six of her puppies who were buried alive inside the campus.
The incident happened at the Lanzhou University in China, when students heard faint, muffled cries and barks underground.
The students were shocked when they realized that the cries they heard were from dogs who were buried underground. They quickly dug up the loosened soil and saved a mother dog and her six puppies.
The poor dogs were very frightened. And since the university doesn’t allow pets inside the campus, the students had to take care of them and feed them in secret. When the puppies grew and were old enough to start walking around, the students called for Animal Asia‘s help so the family can have a temporary home till they get adopted.
And when the puppies were old enough to be adopted, they all found loving homes in the United Kingdom. We don’t have any detail regarding the mother dog, but we hope that she also found a loving forever home of her own.
Nobody knows who buried the dogs, but whoever it is, I hope they get to suffer the same fate for doing such a horrible thing.
A big thank you to the students who saved this family! Because of them, the puppies and the mother dog were given a chance to have life with a family who will love them and take care of them.
