The best thing we have found for our massive chewer is Kong products. She cannot tear them up no matter how much she tries. The one in the middle with blue face is 6 mos old. Squeaker is broken but she cannot shred the body try as she does. Kong is very much worth the price!

My Maggie destroyed every toy. I took a long sock tied a knot in the middle. She played with it for months without tearing it up. She was running wild in the house one day; she picked up my sock in the excitement. She realized quickly it wasn’t hers and spit it out. She picked hers up and kept playing.

If mine can’t destroy the squeaker or disembowel the toy, they don’t want it. That said the Hartz Dura Play toys actually last quite awhile.
