We have recently found out that we are expecting a baby and we have a 8 month old dogue de Bordeaux.
Has anyone else had experience with a young dogue and bringing a newborn baby home?
Any tips on how we can prepare for the babies homecoming? Thanks in advance.

Our dogue was 3 months when we got him. At the time, we had 2 grandchildren at 5 years old, 1 at 2 years and 1 at 5 months. Never any sign ever of aggressive behavior at all. Since then we have had 2 more grandchildren and our now 5 year old dogue has had all 5 of them climbing all over him and our youngest grandchild at 4 months will be doing so soon. He is the most gentlest breed of dog we have ever owned. Because of our grandchildren we did a lot of research first, and that is why we bought our dogue de bordeaux. Never have I owned a more gentle, loving tolerant dog who thinks we are his mommy and daddy. He is also so tolerant and giving to our male, golden doodle grand dog puppy.
