Answers Pet food was amazing for my girl. Fermented, raw diet that was easy for her to digest and kept her at her ideal weight in her senior years.

Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach once a day in the morning. At dinner it’s fried ground beef with rice or a vegetable such as peas or broccoli. Always drain as much fat as possible from the beef. It has worked well for our Boy. There are very few pet foods I trust anymore.

My last Corgi lived on Fromm Gold. But, the breeder I got my current child from fed Nutrisource. I’d never heard of it before, but researched and decided to stick with it. I’m pretty careful about buying American made with American sourced ingredients.

You can do a quick study and educate yourself on what is best. I wouldn’t ask the vet. Our vet recommended IAMS and its first ingredient is corn. We had ours on Blue Buffalo then after comparing ingredients switched to Kirklands from Costco. It’s cheaper and has the same ingredients as Blue Buffalo.

My Chai has a sensitive stomach and was on Royal Canin, Gastrointestional which I had to buy from her vet. It was very expensive but she tolorated it well. I eventually weined her onto Purina Pro Plan sensitive stomach, salmon & rice. She’s been on it now for over a year and tolorates it very well. I recommend it.

I used to give mine purina pro plan, then both of mine got really sick. Couldn’t figure out was wrong. Before running a crap ton of very expensive tests from the vet I switched their food to Kirkland brand – 1/2 of the bowl is kibble the other half is fresh veggies, pumpkin, coconut oil, eggs, meat & raw bones, yogurt, cottage cheese, goats milk ect (they get a variety) Not only did my male corgi slim back down they got better quickly, more energy and their coats are so shiny!

Need more info as to why you need to change. Allergies? Cost? I had 2 schnauzers who, as it turned out, were allergic to beef. My vet said to feed a lamb formula. I fed ProPlan for years. They have 2 formulas for sensitive skin & stomach: salmon & rice, and lamb & oatmeal. Also fed to my Corgis. But it got so expensive so I’ve now switched to 4-Health brand sold at Tractor Supply. Good ingredients and several of their formulas have taurine, which is a good enzyme for the heart—especially important if you’re on the grain free kick (not a good idea). I usually get the fish & rice formula and a chicken/rice or lamb/rice formula and mix them.
