We’re looking for a poodle breeder. We’ve been reading the website of: Crabapple Poodles in Colebrook, NH. It looks very good.

We want to make sure we wouldn’t be buying from a puppy mill. Been there, done that.

      Thanks,
      Jan

Crabapple Downs came highly recommended to us by someone who had a beautiful poodle that we admired when we used to walk our dog Daisy on the beach. Our Daisy passed away in July of 2014 and after some time we looked into getting a poodle from Crab Apple. Arlene, the owner knows everything about her dogs you could ever imagine. She is very particular about the homes her puppies go to. After communicating with her we decided we wanted a Crab Apple puppy. On April 11, 1915 we picked up our little Zasu who was born on Valentines Day, Feb.14, 2015. She is very smart, she was easily house trained and very, very loving. Zasu’s mother is a standard poodle and her father is a miniature poodle. This produces what they term “moyen”. She is now 21 lbs. and could possibly grow to 25 lbs. She is perfect for us. My husband and I highly recommend Crab Apple Downs. I might mention we have no financial interest in this breeder.

Please DO NOT use a breeder! There are SO MANY homeless dogs and it’s so very sad! They want and need LOVE from someone. You CAN find a full bred dog that is homeless – I did. I found my very sweet little Pomeranian in a foster home because her original owners gave her up! Why would they ever give her up? She’s so sweet and beautiful. I take her everywhere and she’s so well behaved! No one sees me – they always gravitate to my precious Silly dog! Please go to http://www.petfinder.com. Just look for the breed you want.

I just did it for you. I put in Colebrook, NH. and poodle. You can choose the sex you want. I didn’t know what sex you wanted, so I didn’t make that choice – but up popped 1912 adorable poodles that need a happy loving home. Here’s the link:

      https://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?location=Colebrook%2C+NH.&animal=dog&breed=Poodle

PLEASE DON’T BUY A DOG. PLEASE SAVE A HOMELESS POODLE. Thanks very much and best of luck to you!

Please, don’t go to a breeder. I agree with the other posters, there are more than enough poodles in shelters or on Craigslist because people get bored with their responsibilities.

A dog you rescue will sense they’ve been saved and will love you even more. Poodles are very smart and many are homeless..Trust the people on this forum. God bless, Mary
