Hi! We have a Chinese crested pup, he has just turned 4 months old.

He has developed dry skin patches on the back of his hind legs.

I have spoken to our vet about it and she has advised using baby oil? After doing some online research I read that coconut oil would be a better method. We have been doing this once per week and it does help soften his skin but the dry patches are still there.

Has anyone got any other tips from experience that work? It is definatley annoying him as he is constantly biting at the area. He is flead, worked and up to date with all jabs. We bathe him once per week in just water. Our vet is not familiar with this breed.

      Thanks
