I adopted an adult pitty recently,and am trying to find some type of bones or chews that will last more than 10 minutes.I am staying away from rawhide because I heard if they ingest a big piece it could cause a blockage.

We use antlers, these last a long time and the dogs love them. Also bully sticks, never rawhide your right there.

Antlers….not cheap, but they last FOREVER. My two pits love them (I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old).

I agree, the Antlers are great. You can always find them on sale at Chewy.com – it’s where I buy my Pit Bull’s food and his toys (free shipping over $50 which is easy to do when you buy a bag of food). I also found that Nylabone works nicely (Nylabone DuraChew Textured Ring Bone Chicken). For a soft toy, Tuffy’s is really durable. My dog loves the octopus and shark. Good Luck!

I use Durabones. They last a long time. I will try antlers too. I wasn’t sure how they would be but others here seem to like them.
