My name is Hobbs. I am a 3 year old English and American Bulldog mix. When I was 1 years old, I was dropped off at a kill shelter by my mom and dad. I still don’t know why they didn’t want me. Thankfully, Angels Amoung Us saved me. I am a big boy and had a hard time finding a foster home. I was in a boarding kennel for 9 months. Finally, a lady named Claudine said she would foster me until I found my forever family. When Claudine took me home, I didn’t wag my tail or give kisses because no one has loved me for so long. My foster mom loved me, talked kindly to me and spend a lot of time telling me how wonderful I am. Now, I rough house with my brothers who are 16 and 18, I run and play outside and I get to sleep on a nice bed in my own room. I finally feel loved. During the day, I sleep in my moms home office. I take lots of walks with her. She has taught me manners, such as walking on a leash, asking politely to go outside to “do my business” and sit on command. I still need to find my forever family, but I am happy for now.
