We were inseparable! Luckily we were adopted by farm owners together. Although we had two large baskets to sleep in, we cuddled in only one every night. We always sat together in the yard and walked side by side on our much loved outings in the South African bushveld. My brother got an epileptic attack every once in a while and I was worried sick each time. Every time I stood by him and even held his paw with mine, nuzzled his ear and encouraged him with my dog words. Most of the time it took only a minute or two and we walked on. I loved him very much. We were soulmates not only in life – we got very old – but after I died from old age, he could not stand life without me, and died a week after me. Now we are sitting in dog heaven on the dog clouds together and remember our wonderful life.
