"natural" treats – knees, ears, tails, etc

What is your opinion on all the natural treats in my local pet store? I see tracheas, knees, ribs, lamb’s tails, etc. I’m unsure what is really safe. The ribs look like they can easily be chewed into sharp, pointed shards which may not digest easily. I have a 4 year old golden. Thank you.
