I have a rescue dog he is 2 yrs old,a black mouth curr. He was house trained when I got him. My black lab of 14 yrs passed away and when I saw this dog it was meant. BUT… I am disabled and can only walk short distances 2 x a day, once at 6:30 am and again at 4 or 5pm. He will hold all until i can take him out, but my lab would go in my yard in between times of walks. He will not go until we leave for walks,I am fearful of him holding such a long time. Can he be trained to go in yard and if so HOW???

If you are feeding him good food he probably shouldn’t need to use the bathroom more than twice a day. It’s strange if he isn’t peeing in the yard but if it seems to be working so far I don’t think it’s much of a problem.
