My 1 year old female eats poop after she is done eating her breakfast and dinner, EVERY DAY! We feed her more than suggested, twice a day, and a good nutritious food that our vet recommended, AND she is a little overweight ( which is why we don’t free feed). She has even been caught following one of our other dogs around the yard to eat it as the other dog is expelling it! I have tried the homeopathic remedies, tried feeding all the dogs a bit of pineapple… Etc, but nothing seems to work… Help!

my Tessa ate poop from the time we got her at 9 weeks till about 3 months ago – then she just stopped – she is now 1 year 8 months – it has nothing to do with hunger or what your feeding your dog – some dogs just do it – we just got a second Havi puppy at 9 weeks and she is now 4 months – never once attempted to poop eat – then again the personalities of the two are completely different – Tessa is high strung and VERY active doesn’t particularly like to be held and not a lap dog, nor does she like to be groomed/combed – where Ellie just loves to be held, sit on your lap and is quite content to be groomed – — so I guess its kinda like people – they’re all different
