Springer Spaniels Front Leg Development

Has any other Springer own had their puppy develop pretty pronounced knots on his/her knees? He is 11 weeks old and it seems they have become more pronounved and he is almost knock-kneed. I know that those are where his growth plates are and he goes to the vet Wenesday, just looking for any others who might have had this experience and what it turned out to be? Someone said chronodysplasia, but I am hopeful it is just his growth plate and him being in an awkward growth phase. Any input?
