We Need Help!

My name is Amanda and I am the proud mother of a two year old fur baby. Ellie is a German Shorthair Pointer and my absolute best friend. Unfortunately, Ellie was diagnosed with Masticatory Muscle Myositis which is an autoimmune disease in which her body attacks her own cells specifically in the left side of her face and jaw. Ellie’s treatment has primarily been Prednisone. ( a steroid) Unfortunately, due to the steroid, Ellie has developed a secondary disorder and now is in need of surgery to remove a hyperactive salivary gland. I’m from Aransas County and have had to exhaust all financial resources to fix my home due to Hurricane Harvey which leaves me without the financial capability to pay for her surgery. I’m not sure who I can contact if anyone that could help in this situation. If anyone has any ideas or would like to help please reach out. Thank you in advance.
