Year of the Dog: Marc Ching Advocates Pet Health and Safety
Every dog has its day. 2018 is indeed the Year of the Dog with the ongoing efforts of Animal Rights Activist, Marc Ching. Founder of The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, Ching works to liberate dogs domestically and worldwide. He most recently traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with Congressional Staff in negotiations of workarounds to pass a Pro-Animal Rights bill: The Dog and Cat Meat Prohibition Act – HR 1406.
He routinely travels to China, Cambodia, and South Korea to rescue dogs marked for slaughter in the infamous Dog Meat Trade. Herbalist, nutritionist, and microbiologist, he rounds out his animal rights work by offering holistic healing modalities for pets. Harnessing his breadth of knowledge, he creates individualized meal plans at an affordable price to improve pet health and wellbeing.
A true Pet Doctor without Borders, his foundation takes on challenges near and far. A couple of weeks ago, the foundation responded to a Facebook post about a dog with taped up mouth and paws in South Los Angeles. A Siberian Husky named Evie, this rescued dog now safely awaits her forever home. With Petstaurant, Ching touts holistic pet healthcare through nutrition. In his ongoing efforts to pass protective legislature, Marc Ching sets the tone for this Year of the Dog.
