Don’t tell us that dogs don’t understand what their humans say to them. Just look into their eyes, and you know they get it.
One of our favorite recent examples is Honey, and her mom, Sarah Lawther, who shared a heartwarming TikTok video of her adorable, somewhat bashful pup.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to meet Honey.
TikTok user @SarahLawther recently uploaded a video of her telling Honey, her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, how beautiful she is. And Honey’s reaction is priceless.
Honey has her paws resting on Sarah’s knees, looking up at her. Honey’s ears drop and her eyes light up every time her dog mom tells her she’s beautiful. She looks deep into the camera, and you can see what this pupper is all about: love. And lots of it.
“You are the most beautiful girl in the whole entire world,” Sarah says (in an Australian accent that really just seals the deal on the cuteness).
Honey emits the cutest little squeak, obviously understanding that Sarah is giving her true love and appreciation.
When Sarah continues, “Yes you, you are my baby, you’re perfect. Do you agree?” Honey’s face lights up even more, and her tail starts wagging. She’s obviously a very loved—and very happy—girl.

In response to the video, user Sam Jones wrote, ” ‘Really? You really mean it, mama?’ My heart!”

Of course, Honey isn’t the only TikTok famous dog out there. Not by a long shot.
Other Good TikTok Doggies
One of our all-time favorite TikTok dogs belongs to Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, also known as Mark Hammill. The movie star has a ton of videos available of him just hanging out with his dog, Mabel, a rescue pooch.
We’re also big fans of Tatum, another rescue dog who’s found fame via social media. Tatum, a pit bull, was an extremely neglected dog and barely saved from death by a non-profit Pit Bull rescue. But he found a new home with Charles and Nicole Lever and is now loved around the world via TikTok.
And we can’t forget Eddie, a little fella with a big hatred of mornings, which is incredibly relatable. Eddie is just as grumpy with his dog mom, Lisa, as many of us were with our parents during high school. He just needs five more minutes, Mom! (OK, maybe 10).
