When you purchase items from the iHeartDogs store, a part of that sale is donated to GreaterGood. GreaterGood supports different charities that can help dogs in need. Thanks to amazing dog lovers like you, many dogs get a new chance at life simply because of our donations. One of those dogs is Blossom!

When Blossom was young, her human died, leaving her all alone. With no one to care for her, she was sent to a nearby kill shelter. For a while she just sat there waiting. No one was interested in her and her time was running out. That’s when START Rescue came to help.

START arrived at the shelter to meet Blossom. They took a video of her playing with another dog and sent it to Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue in Washington, asking them if they could take her. They gladly said yes, and Blossom was on her way to a better life.

Blossom was safe at Mostly Mutts, but she still didn’t have her forever home. She had a lot of health problems that still needed to be addressed. Both of her back knees had to be replaced and she was extremely overweight. It took a year for her to fully recover, but now she’s much healthier and 20 pounds lighter!

With all health issues aside, Blossom was ready for her forever family. Blossom was adopted not long after her information was shared online, but she was returned after 2 months. The woman who adopted her hadn’t realized how allergic she was to dogs, so she sadly had to give Blossom up.

GreaterGood has helped Blossom get out of the kill shelter and get the medical attention she needs, but she is currently still in need of a loving home. She’s about 4 years old and she thinks she’s a lap dog! She would prefer a home with no cats or other small animals, but other than that, she’s a very sweet dog. She’s looking for a family to love her and cuddle her often. If you think that’s you, please apply at Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue!

Thanks to purchases from the iHeartDogs store, dogs like Blossom are given a second chance at life through the Second Chance Movement. iHeartDogs sells a variety of amazing products both for humans and dogs that help fund transport from kill shelters to safety. Every purchase makes a difference, so thank you to everyone that’s bought products to help save dogs like Blossom! Many dogs are stuck at kill shelters, so it’s important to get them out of there as soon as possible.
