GONE VIRAL: Quadriplegic Dog Walks Again, And The Whole Internet Cries Tears of Joy!

| June 12, 2015

Sometimes when a diagnosis is given, there is a person–or even a dog–that will defy the odds. Meet Sammi, a Springer Spaniel with a spirit that refused to be broken despite what doctors predicted.

A few months ago Sammi was admitted to emergency surgery, where he had excess bone removed near his spinal column. Sadly, the surgery was said to have left Sammi living the remainder of his life as a quadriplegic. Post-surgery, poor Sammi spent three intense months at the California Animal Rehabilitation (CARE) in Santa Monica, CA to receive the proper care that he needed to deal with the struggle life had dealt him. But Sammi had news for them, and his loving owner, which you’ll see in this precious video. Oh, and grab that tissue, too:

It’s incredible to know that not only is Sammi walking again, he’s even running! We know how grateful his loving owner is, and we are sure they will look back on this and smile one day. From the looks of Sammi, and that adorable butt wiggle, you’d never know that he had even suffered one bit!
