#1 – Sharing

Sharing is the easiest way for you to help homeless pets. “Like” the local shelters and rescues in your area, as well as the “big” organizations such as Adoptapet.com, Best Friends Animal Society, ASPCA, etc.. When they post a pet that needs a home, simply click “share”!

How CUTE is this guy!? Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Chevy, a baby Australian Shepherd mix available for adoption in East Greenwhich Rhode Island from ArkanPaws Animal Rescue. Chevy is full to the brim with typical puppy enthusiasm! He’s a happy-go-lucky little guy who is curious and playful. He’s going to make an awesome addition to a family that is willing to guide him through puppyhood and into life as an adult dog, teaching him good manners and positive behaviors. For more on Chevy, please visit his Adopt-a-Pet.com profile: http://bit.ly/1GSyjzR ** Want to save a shelter pet, but not ready to adopt? Consider visiting http://bit.ly/adoptapetcom and searching for an adoptable pet near you to share on Facebook. In less than a minute, you could save a life!

Instead of posting picture after picture of your own dogs all month long, post images of rescues in your area that need homes! Cute images of adoptable pets have proven to spike adoption numbers. If you have a camera and a couple hours of time, you can make a difference in the lives of shelter pets.
